So, a relatively calm day. We made more time than any other day. Yesterday I left you in suspense – why would someone from Georgia, headed to Montana, go through Arkansas, and southern Arkansas? A lot of places looked like Louisiana. Well, my most favorite country singer of all times (ties with the Eagles) – Glen Campbell, is from Delight, Arkansas. And it wasn’t a terribly long way out of the way, so we went through Delight and saw the sign that said “Home of Glen Campbell”. That was exciting to me, but I like going in Dollar General too. Also, within 5 miles, there is a state park called Crater of Diamonds. You can search for diamonds there and I wanted to do that. So we found a campground – State Park on Lake Greeson called Daisy State Park. Hung out here for the rest of the day and got some rain, which is good for diamond searching – the rain tends to wash the diamonds to the surface.
